+27% organic traffic.

In just 6 months from Google Ads:
+120% conversions from campaigns;
+1.22% CTR.

We maintained a high number of ad clicks despite a 50% decrease in impressions. These results were made possible by a careful selection of keywords associated with the ads.

Competition in the customizable products sector has always been intense: BlueBag Italia’s primary goal was to stand out from the many competitors by strengthening its brand identity around the concepts of quality and professionalism.
Building brand awareness required, first and foremost, securing top positions on search engines for the wide range of keywords tied to the company’s extensive product catalog.
Another key requirement was optimizing the on-site user experience, in order to convert a higher number of potential customers into actual buyers.

The strategy of creating the BlueBag Italia online brand and positioning its products began with the answer to a simple question: what is the company’s strong point that differentiates it from the rest of its competitors?
BlueBag Italia manufactures all kinds of customised items for businesses, but specialises in bags, shoppers and trolleys, water bottles and duffle bags in bulk; within the wide range of customisable products, there are some top products such as pens and USB sticks.

Cdweb has set up its SEO, SEM and development activities emphasising precisely these differentiating values.

Development: in the new version of Bluebagitalia.com, the catalogue is proposed already divided into two parts: bags catalogue and promotional items. Moreover, the best-selling products are given wide visibility thanks to the ‘Top seller’ section. In addition, emphasis is placed on new catalogue items (‘Latest News’) and promotions (‘On Offer’).

SEO optimisation: the indexation work for BlueBag Italia followed a ‘cascade‘ flow: We started from the macro categories (“Backpacks”, “Duffle Bags”, “Shoppers”), associating them with keywords such as “customised”, “promotional”, “customisable”, gradually covering all the subcategories of the catalogue with the same logic (“Leisure Backpacks”, “Rollaway Backpacks”, “Children’s Backpacks”), also combining them with more specific terms such as “price ” and “cost”, until we obtained long tail keywords.

SEM: two AdWords campaigns were set up following the subdivision of the catalogue; one with groups of ads on backpacks, duffel bags and fanny packs; the other with groups of ads for top promotional items such as pens, USB sticks, shoppers; another for generic promotional items (e.g. promotional items for companies, company gadgets).
