Competition in the field of customized products has always been very competitive: BlueBag Italia’s primary objective was to distinguish itself from many competitors, strengthening its brand identity around the concepts of quality and professionalism of the service provided.
The creation of a Brand Awarness required first of all the presidio of the best positions in the search engines for the multitude of keywords related to the vast corporate catalog. Another key requirement was to optimize the on-site user experience so as to convert more potential customers into real customers.

The strategy of creating the BlueBag Italia online brand and positioning its products began with the answer to a simple question: what is the strength of the company? How does it really differ from the rest of the competitors?

Cdweb has set up SEO, SEM and development activities emphasizing precisely our differentiating values:

– Development: in the new version of Bluebagitalia.com the catalog is already divided into two, bags catalog and promotional items. In addition, wide visibility is guaranteed to the best-selling products thanks to the “top seller” section. Also, emphasis is given to new items in the catalog (“latest news”) and promotions (“on offer”).

– SEO optimization: the indexing work for BlueBag Italia followed a flow “cascade”: we started from the macro categories (“Backpacks”, “Duffels”, “Shopper”, etc…) in association with keywords such as “customized”, “promotional”, “customizable”, gradually covering all subcategories of the catalog with the same logic (“Leisure backpacks”, “Backpacks resealable”, “Backpacks for children”, etc…), in association with more specific terms such as “prices” and “cost”, up to get long tail keywords.

– SEM: two AdWords campaigns have been set up that follow the subdivision of the catalogue; one with ad groups on backpacks, duffels and fanny packs; the other with ad groups for top promotional items such as pens, USB flash drives, shoppers and other ads for generic promotional items (e.g. corporate promotional items, corporate gadgets).
